Collected, not composed.

Inside this Copenhagen home by RUE VERTE, set within a building from 1879, history and calm sit comfortably together. Soft tonal colours, tactile materials and gentle contrasts run through every room - layered with bespoke rugs, vintage finds and art that feels collected over time rather than styled for a moment.

Our BRAQUE, LUCID and RING Table Lights are woven throughout, each adding its own texture to the mix. BRAQUE's hand-cast bronze base, undulating and warm, sits against a sleek silk shade. LUCID's honed alabaster dome glows softly from within, its natural veining echoing the marble found elsewhere in the home. And RING, sculptural whether on or off, plays with light and shadow across its refined form.

The result: an interior that feels personal and enduring, made to be lived in for years to come.

The smallest room, the most considered light.

A few principles we come back to when lighting a bathroom, project after project:

- Layer it. A single overhead light rarely does a bathroom justice. Combine an ambient source with something closer to the mirror for a softer, more flattering result.

- Warmth near the mirror. This is where light is felt most - getting ready, winding down. Alabaster and softly diffused finishes bring a gentler glow than anything too bright or cool.

- Avoid harshness. Bathrooms are full of hard, reflective surfaces - marble, tile, glass. The lighting shouldn't add to that. Soft, considered illumination lets the materials speak without overwhelming the space.

Many of our signature pieces are also available with an IP44 rating, making them perfectly suited for bathroom settings - without compromise to materiality or design.

AVALON, in every form.

Suspended by minimal stainless-steel cables, AVALON's honed alabaster cylinders appear to float gracefully within any interior setting. Available in three sizes - medium, large and extra large - the collection adapts easily to different spaces.

The M, L and XL Chandeliers are perfectly suited to dining tables, living rooms and bedrooms, while the more compact scale of the medium size also lends itself to less traditional settings, such as a bar or kitchen island.

For something more dramatic, AVALON HALO pairs two chandeliers in a tiered formation to create a single, striking centrepiece.

Whatever the size, AVALON's floating silhouette and ambient glow ensure every installation makes a dramatic statement.

Discover AVALON in action.

Inspired by the legendary island, from where mystical stories of light and shadows have enchanted the world for centuries, AVALON captures that same sense of mystique through alabaster and metal, casting cascades of light for a truly ethereal illumination.

From private residences to grand commercial spaces, AVALON has found its place in some of the best interiors around the world - floating above dining tables, anchoring entrance halls, and bringing a sense of quiet drama to rooms of every scale.

Here's a look at just a few of our favourite AVALON installations so far.

The making of AVALON.

It begins with alabaster - hand-selected, then honed into cylinders, each one carrying its own natural veining and variation. These are encapsulated in brass or bronze, the metal framing the stone rather than competing with it.

Each cylinder is then hand-assembled into AVALON’s circular form, piece by piece, before the completed chandelier is suspended by minimal stainless-steel cables - the final step that gives it its signature, almost weightless quality.

From raw stone to floating form, every AVALON chandelier carries the hand of the artisan who made it.

Natural stone brings another layer of materiality to HERON.

Choose from the soft, expressive veining of Calacatta marble or the striking contrast of Black Marquina, each one selected for its distinctive beauty and individuality.

Combined with HERON's refined silhouette and precise illumination, the result is a floor light defined by quiet luxury and enduring craftsmanship.

A Spotlight on PETRA.

Inspired by the quiet beauty of weathered stone and molten glass, PETRA features two layers of glass and two distinct qualities of light. At its centre sits a soft core of opal or hand-shaped smoked glass, encased within a second, thick outer shade in a gently tinted, pebble-like form that softly diffuses and deflects the light.

The results is an atmospheric glow with remarkable depth, where light appears to rest within the glass before gently illuminating the space beyond.

PETRA works alone as a single point of focus, or gathered in multiples, where the layered shades echo the rhythmic pattern evocative of pebbles on the beach.

A moment of stillness, framed by the mountains.

In the bathroom at Atmosphère 1850, our ARTES wall lights sit either side of the vanity, adding a warm, balanced glow against a backdrop of rich wood, marble and expansive alpine views.

Floor-to-ceiling glazing draws the landscape into the room, while the softly illuminated alabaster brings warmth to the cool tones beyond. Positioned beside the mirror, ARTES becomes part of the architecture itself, creating a sense of calm that feels entirely at home within the space.

As Atelier Giffon describes it, "Every room tells its own story, an immersive and sensitive celebration of the mountains”.

Within this luxury alpine penthouse, generous volumes unfold like a landscape of their own.

In the living space, multiple AVALON chandeliers are suspended at varying heights and scales, their glowing rings echoing the shape of the peaks beyond. The composition feels almost sculpted from the mountain itself: intimate, architectural, and bold.

In the master bedroom, where the mood is softer and calmer, our RING Table Light offers a quieter counterpoint. Its circular form plays with light and shadow, bringing warmth to the room.

"A true eagle's nest, something quite extraordinary," reflects designer Rémi Giffon, a space where exceptional design, contemporary art, and alpine stillness sit in balance with one another.
