Agnes Agocs Interior Designer London and Hertfordshire Sophisticated contemporary, minimalist and soft industrial homes for stylish people who appreciate quiet, understated luxury in their lives.

We are here for you for the most complex projects or a single room and if you just need the occasional advice. Hello, I'm Agnes
My friends just call me Agi, actually - I don't mind either way ;)

My mission is to design extraordinary homes for extraordinary people, who appreciate quiet, understated luxury and consider their home a crucial part of their wellbeing. A beautiful home isn't just about

spending money on luxury wallpapers and expensive furniture. It is all about considering the details that are often overlooked, sometimes invisible, but make a world of difference! I believe that great design has 3 essential parts in common:
discovering your personal style and lifestyle, careful space planning and quality workmanship. It isn't only how our home LOOKS, it is about how it FEELS and how it SERVES us. My design style evolved fast in the past couple of years into what I now believe is the most beautiful, sophisticated and connect us to our inner peace, so you will see a variety of projects in my portfolio.

In any case, your home will reflect your personality and will be absolutely unique!

Builders are good and some a really really good!

But they are there for you to do the job the best they can.

This little en-suit bathroom is only 2.6 x 1.4m so you would be tempted to just NOT get it designed, thinking it's not worth it.

Would you hire a designer for this scheme?

Once upon a time there was this little en-uit bathroom in Ealing, London, that was "renovated". Well, somehow, anyway.
Now, however, it was REDESIGNED and REIMAGINED!

Shower and toilet moved to the opposite wall for better flow and space saving, toilet bowl installed onto the wall with concealed cistern. And with bespoke vanity unit we made sure no gaps and awkward little spaces remained unused.
Finally, we added more lights, more mirrors and more fun!

That is a CRAZY amount of different curtain tracks and brackets and gliders and motors!!! 😆
Luckily Vincent was an entertaining guy so we made it through the first day! (Yep, there is a second day! 😲)

While I appreciate that the view on this can come down to personal preferences and life style differences, I have the feeling that there is

Interior designer pet peeves?
We all have our own.
Some are controversial others are no brainers (or so I think! 🤣)

Can you spot two that EVERY HOME in a MAGAZINE would feature!??

I have dived into the Bank Holiday but the guys were making some amazing progress in this full bathroom renovation - before they go fishing tomorrow 🤣

The strip out started with a pit of panic as in order to relocate the toilet to the other wall we needed to cut out of 5 main joists.
Well, that's not possible.
So we had two options
1. Redesign to leave the original layout
2. needed to install transfer joists asap

Lucky we were lucky to opt for no 2 with minimal delays and the tiling is almost fully done!

Have look at some before images and where we are now!

Bathroom renovations don't always mean a full strip out. In this bathroom we keep a lot existing features and add some more to make it awesome!
