Two quiet benches stood with grace,
Solid wood, time held in place.
Grain and weight beneath the hand,
Built to serve and built to stand.
Morning light across their frame,
Each small mark a gentle name
Of moments lived and days gone by,
Coffee cups and laughter nearby.
Today they leave this little door,
To find their place in homes once more.
New halls to rest in, floors to greet,
New stories gathering at their feet.
May the rooms that welcome you
Feel the warmth your timber knew.
For things well made and shaped with care
Carry quiet beauty everywhere.
Safe travels, old friends.
