New newsletter is up and May was a lot ✨

The freelancing graft is real in a way that is hard to explain unless you are in it. No straight lines. No off switch. Watching independent restaurants I love disappear from this city and feeling that grief while also knowing I am not in a position to take that leap myself and making peace with that, out loud, honestly.

The answer is always the same. Keep cooking. Keep gathering people.

Two new menus are running this month and next and these two menus are my niche. Bangali Bari, my home table, and Kolkata Chinese, the food of the restaurants I grew up in. Both are on the website. Link in bio. And dates are all yours.
