It's not hard to figure out why the good people at named this wallpaper design 'The River of Joy'. Indeed, the river in question, created by German artist, Olaf Hajek, meanders through a magical, whimsical world, delighting at each turn with a plethora of fantastically coloured plants and curious creatures. We wanted to go pattern on pattern with the curtains and finding a fabric that could hold its own with this wallpaper presented an unexpected challenge. It turned out that the brilliant Tigger Hall of Nine Muses produces designs of equally painterly appeal and the Mini Leaf does the job perfectly. A wide stripe from Manuel Canovas on the armchair and Charles Orchard's wonderful Etagere and Side Table balance the scheme, with intense pops of colour from our ikat cushions and Porta Romana's Grace lamp.

You can't see the runner we have in the window when it's shot from across the road so we really had to give it a post of its own. It's an Persian antique runner from the brilliant Robert Stephenson and is so truly exquisite it actually makes your heart sing. Changing our window over always gives us a bit of a boost here at our studio. An injection of newness always does, doesn't it? Whether it's a small change like a new lamp; a big change like a whole new scheme for a room or even a full house renovation, there's nothing quite like it to reinvigorate the senses. In contrast to the pared-back calm of our last window, we've gone for an unashamedly pretty scheme with a little something in there for the frill-seekers among you. We are also launching our handsome Doria Dining Bench which can be ordered to any length and covered in the fabric of your choice. As an alternative to built-in banquette seating, we like to think this offers a little more versatility and the investment is yours to take with you (unlike its built-in brother), should you one day move house. The London blind. A little bit flouncy, would probably admit to being somewhat of an exhibitionist.
