It’s all child’s play in this playroom, it even has it’s own postbox 📮

This is where I love collaboration as my client called me one day to tell me she had bought a post box for the room. A real one. We works the artwork around it and it looks so cute and fits perfectly within the space.

Saturday morning coffee…

There’s something about it, however you take it, you can take your time over it. You hopefully don’t have to rush to work, the morning can be taken that little bit slower and even if you have somewhere to be, there’s a moment of calm for the weekend ahead.

I’m going to tell you something about me….

I love having a bath. In the morning, in the evening and on a Sunday afternoon if I can ever find a moment.

It’s always great when a client feels the same and in the recently completed Finsbury Park project the clients wanted this wonderful roll top bath to be the central focus of their family bathroom.

Can you see the very thin drawer at the top of this joinery…

That’s a shelf for my clients morning coffee.

I had to think of a clever way to extend these tables as they are great bedside tables which fit into the alcoves I designed but a doorway in the room means they can only be a certain depth. Coffee was a key factor in this bedroom design so I created a pull out shelf for that much needed morning cup!

I used the gorgeous handles and backplates which always add a fab detail and a bespoke Calacatta viola top
