💜 Batch 2 Update 💜

It has left the factory! A little later than intended due to multiple small delays. Material issue, then some drills needed replacements etc. Honestly, if it were just one issue then you wouldn’t even feel it. But with multiple little issues like those mentioned above I’m a little concerned I won’t make the 12 lead time given.

That’s because sea freight is still unpredictable too. The Middle East issues are causing congestion on sea freight routes and extending shipping times. I’m waiting for confirmation of dock departure dates.

As always, I’ll keep you updated. For now, I’m confident of a July receipt to us. End of June is looking slim… in the mean time I’m using this delay to spend time on creating Christmas kits and something a little bit new… 👀

💜 Sunday Shenanigans! 💜

Honestly, I don’t have the energy today to decide what pics to share and what to shelve so you just have all the pictures this time - the good and the bad 😅

Indy went to her Golden Meet this morning and had a great time! About 40 other goldens came for a run around so we’re thankful for the bright pink tail - made it easier to keep an eye on her! I’m not sharing photos of that event as they have people in them that may not want their face on our page.

Piper is addicted to the car. The second I open the door she runs in. And covers the leather interior with wet paw prints… and she’s now worse than Boo for ‘office time’. She recognises the jangle the office keys make and runs to the door the second I pick up the keys. Then she spends all day on Indy’s bed. Fun fact, move that bed into the house, she avoids it like the plague…

Sq**rt has avoided conflict with Steve the Squirrel. He’s too busy stripping our cherry trees to consider using her head as a spring board again…

Murphy is complaining about his hairstyle… so we are looking for a mobile cat groomer. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a mobile cat groomer? That will be next week’s task ✂️

Another fun fact! It’s our wedding anniversary today which is why this update is earlier than normal. Switching off for the evening. Thank you Mr DAS for putting up with our crazy household for another year! I’ll try not to increase the critter count between now and the next anniversary 😅

💜 Update 💜

🐈‍⬛ And Piper Living Her Freeloader Life… 🐈‍⬛

Exceptionally busy day today, catching up on orders from the general release of our new kits, as well as being a ‘short’ week last week where we worked just 3 days…

But we are now up to date with the exception of a few orders placed today. We are back to normalcy now following Batch 1 delivery!

And these pictures show the extent that Piper has moved today… she is genuinely addicted to Indy’s office bed and the second the door opens, she claims the bed…

Stay tuned. Some wonky kits to load up this week. Then back to our normal workload where we need to get some Christmas things sorted…

💜 Sunday Shenanigans 💜

Not many interesting photos this week. But the troublemaker is easily Piper. Wondering if we should do a ‘Mischievous Mascot’ award each week 😅

Lots of snoozes in the sunshine, dips in the river and a moment where I was trying to cool down by chilling in the sun room, only to be smothered by Indy and Sq**rt…

Piper and Sq**rt tried joining Indy on one of her walks. If anyone heard the crazy lady shouting ‘go home’ last week then I apologise. Indy eventually spotted the hitchhikers and chased them home 🤣

Following on from that, whilst unloading the car of some items, Piper decided it was a great place to explore! She jumped in the back seat. When I’d unloaded and went to lock up, she was gone… but I don’t trust her. So I double checked. She’d managed to find a gap into the boot… 🤦🏼‍♀️ So after taking the photo for evidence of her misdemeanour, I had to dismantle the dog hammock from the back seats to access the boot and remove Piper from the car. She was definitely the problem child this week 🤣

Looking forward to some cooler days moving forward! Obviously sunshine is nice to have, but it’s stressful trying to keep all the mascots cool.

💜 Update 💜

Very busy day trying to catch up on orders since all Batch 1 Pre Orders completed yesterday… with the exception of a small handful of orders waiting for items still in our off site storage, all orders up to Monday May 25th are packed and ready to leave us tomorrow morning.

We are closed tomorrow - May 29th is always a personal day and we’re closed if it falls on a weekday. It would have been an admin day anyway with it being Friday, so nothing would have been packed even if it was a work day for us.

I anticipate a decent amount of personal diamond painting over the weekend, so I’m contemplating my next one to start… Exchanging Pheasantries is high on the list - some quirky fun characters will brighten any day 🥰 What do you think?

💜 Batch One Update 💜

The handful of orders I didn’t get chance to final pack yesterday are now packed and being handed to UPS in the morning… blame the heat and lack of breeze! The office was quite harsh yesterday 🤣 Indy did enjoy the ice cream breaks though… and yes I know she shouldn’t have Magnums but the pet store didn’t have any dog friendly ice cream left…

I have about an hour of urgent admin to do and then I’m going to start working on packing the orders placed for general stock. Tomorrow is going to be another toasty day so I’ll try to get a long day done today.

💜 Stay Safe! 💜

UK hot weather is no joke. I know lots of non UK peeps call us wimps, but it just hits different here: there is no escaping it…

Work is still happening, but with a few more breaks than normal to rehydrate and stand in front of the fan for a minute or two 😅 Will probably be a late finish to make up for the water breaks. All mascots are fine and have found their favourite cool spots to spend their day. The house remains cool for them too.

💜 Sunday Shenanigans! 💜

Busy week behind the scenes. And the mascots haven’t helped at all… in fact Piper put us a couple of hours behind when I had to carry out a wildlife rescue mission… a weanling blue tit. Now safely at the vets and will be released soon. No injuries, just shaken up. Piper is now on the naughty list…

Lots of sunshine and snoozes for everyone else though! Sq**rt did try to ‘hide’ from Indy (under her feeding station) and swipe at her feet as she walked past. It didn’t work but I give her 10/10 for effort 😅

The paddling pool is out… so everyone is enjoying being able to cool off their toes this weekend. I’m sure some local wildlife (foxes) will have a splash around tonight too.

Indy has fallen out with me though… let’s just say I’ve recently kicked a 20 year habit, and I’m reaching for the snacks as a substitute. So there is a lot of fruit around. Indy doesn’t like fruit… the amount of apple and melon slices being spat out at me is hilarious 🤣 She’s used to getting much better tasting tidbits from me 🤣

Have a wonderful Bank Holiday Monday everyone! Hope the sun is shining and you manage to enjoy yourself - we certainly intend to! 💜
