We've had a few people in the shop this week asking the same thing, is there still time to get new flooring fitted before Christmas?

Good news: yes, if you get moving now.
December fills up fast, so the sooner you come in, the more choice you've got on timing.

Whether you're after carpet, vinyl, LVT or laminate, Darren and the team will help you find the right fit for your home and budget — no pressure, just honest advice from people who've been doing this nearly 30 years right here in Longfield. We measure, we fit, we even move the furniture and take the old flooring away, so you're not left dealing with any of the hassle yourself.

If you're not sure what you're after, pop in and have a look and feel of the samples, it's easier to picture in person than on a screen. And if you can't get down to us, just ask, we can bring samples to you.

Whatever room you're thinking about, let's get it sorted before the guests arrive.

New hallway. New standard.
We installed 10 sqm of laminate flooring in a Longfield home, complete with a ribbed doormat set into a custom matwell.

The job included:

🔹 Uplifting and disposing of the old carpet, underlay and grippers

🔹 Installing underfloor heating underlay

🔹 Laying a durable, low-maintenance laminate with a clean, modern finish

The result looks sharp and it’s easy to clean, built for busy households and ready for winter with underfloor heating in place.

The homeowner is now planning to continue the same floor in the lounge.

If you want practical flooring that lasts, get in touch.
We’ve been helping local families improve their homes for nearly 30 years.

If you're after a really thick, luxurious carpet, the bedroom's the place to put it.

It gets a fraction of the foot traffic that hallways, stairs and living rooms deal with, so you've got a lot more freedom to go soft and deep with the pile — comfort over durability, for once.

There's nothing quite like a deep pile carpet underfoot on a cold morning. Pair it with a good quality underlay and you get even more warmth and cushioning, which makes a bigger difference than people expect.

Fancy something softer underfoot? Pop into the shop in Longfield and try the ranges for yourself, or get in touch and we'll talk you through the options.

Thinking about new bathroom flooring? Not every flooring type is suited to a wet room.

Carpet's one to avoid in bathrooms. It soaks up moisture from wet feet, splashes and general humidity, which makes it tricky to keep clean and fresh.

Standard laminate needs a bit more thought too. If water gets into the joints it can cause swelling and damage, so it's always worth checking a product is specifically rated for bathroom use before you commit.

Solid hardwood is best left for other rooms. It takes on moisture quickly, which leads to warping, cupping and rot over time – not ideal for a bathroom's damp conditions.

Vinyl and the right LVT tend to be the safer bet. They're easy to keep clean and come in plenty of styles, so you're not short on options.

Not sure what'll suit your bathroom?
Come in and see us for honest advice based on your space, your household and your budget.

As the weather cools, we always see more people coming into the shop to look at carpet. It is easy to understand why. A comfortable carpet underfoot feels especially inviting as we head into autumn.

We have a huge selection of carpets in different colours, textures and styles. Browsing online is a useful place to start, but choosing carpet is very different when you see and feel it in person. Colours often look different on a screen and the texture and pile need to feel right for your space.

Before visiting, take a few photos of the room, your current flooring, curtains, furniture and anything else you want to match. This gives us a much better idea of your existing colours and style.

Allow yourself a good 30 to 40 minutes in the shop. Look through the samples, feel the different options and compare colours properly. You might arrive with one carpet in mind and leave preferring something completely different.

With nearly 30 years of flooring experience, our family run team is here to help you make the right choice.
