So lovely to catch up with clients old and new at the Ripley Castle Decorative Home and Salvage Show last weekend organised by featuring a very special royal visitor to our pitch, the gorgeous Eric the pug! Great to see over from Comber in Northern Ireland, and special shout outs and thanks to and for helping us tether our marquee to the van on a very windy first day so it didn’t take flight! Always a fantastic fair set in the most beautiful Yorkshire countryside with a great roster of quality dealers such as and . Beautiful Mother’s Day lunch in regency Leamington Spa today followed by a walk through Jephson Gardens where we spied this beauty - the Jephson memorial, a classical sandstone ashlar temple with lead domed roof, surrounded by Corinthian columns. Looked especially lovely in the sunshine with a morello cherry ice cream in hand.

Detail of beautiful hand marbled papers of a recently acquired 1807 family bible. Owned by the Johnson family, it contains the handwritten family records if birth and death - sadly, the binding has seen better days, but still a beautiful thing.

A rare and intricately chip-carved 17th Century Welsh oak writing box with original copper hinges, chased brass handles and sliding side panel which reveals a drawer.
