We have been having some super fun kids parties lately! We're a big fan of this collection of animals from a kids party this summer who made and decorated some pinch pot animals.

If you were interested in booking a kids party with us, here's how they work!
Sunday's either 10am-12.30 or 1-2.30pm, a fully guided handbuilding workshop to a specific theme where kids make and decorate their creations. Choose from:

Dinosaurs 🦕
Pinch pot animals 🐰
Trinket dishes 🩷
Monsters🧌

Feel free to bring cake as we can save time for this at the end! Pieces are glazed in a shiny transparent and fired to full stone ceramic for collection 3-4 weeks after the party date.

Next month, we have a hare sculpture masterclass with the wonderful Kate Berry! Look at various sculptural methods to create a full body hare using professional sculptural stoneware ceramic 🐰

The workshop is a full day course on October 4th from 10am-4pm with a break for lunch. All teaching, tools, materials and firings are included. More information here:

Meet the venue! 🍻

We are so proud to work with this amazing pub which is inside a rustic old dairy farm and located surrounding the National Trust Calke Abbey estate. A beautiful venue that has it all! They make wood fired sourdough pizzas using dough from Julia's bakery in Ashby, they have an on-site brewery, where all your favourite Tollage beers are made and bottled and they host many events (not just pottery!) such as cider and sausage festivals, Oktoberfest and live music.

We absolutely can't wait to be back here on the 23rd making highland cows, next to the cows in the adjacent fields! 🐮

Our September pottery events are BOTH making highland cows! We absolutely love this popular make and you can make your very own highland cow sculpture at our next two pottery at the pub events 🍻

September 8th at 7-9pm at The Unicorn Hotel Nottingham

September 23rd at 6.30-8.30pm at The Milking Parlor Ashby-de-la-Zouch
