So the answer to this is no, it took me two weeks not one
But what do you reckon? I think I need to do more cross stitch doggies! 🐶

I really enjoyed the challenge of getting this to look like the image. I’m looking at it now and I think the ears need to be more ginger, and I’d like the make the tongue smaller?!

But I feel like you get the fluffy teddy bear feeling that this lovely dog breed has?

Comment with the dog breed I should do next and if you’d like the kit/pattern for this one?!

Our Bookmark Cross Stitch Kit 🧵

It’s been one of our bestsellers for nearly three years.

When we designed it, there was nothing else quite like it on the market.

It took months of designing, testing and re-testing. We tweaked the colour palette, rewrote the instructions until they were truly beginner-proof, and stitched sample after sample until it felt just right.

So I’ll be honest, it really annoyed me this week to see it copied. But it’s also reminded me why we do what we do. Doing things differently is at the heart of Cotton Clara.

And I’m not worried, because we’ve got a sketchbook full of new ideas, and our kits will just keep getting better.

A little bit of our story up to the present day in case you’re new here. It’s not been an easy journey but we’ve had fun and we’re still here and excited for the future 💪

I feel so privileged that I get to create things that don’t exist that bring people joy and help them relax and spend less time in front of a screen. This truly is my dream job 🎉

I truly believe in the power of a hobby whatever it is to bring you so much happiness, fulfilment, friends and fun! Hobbies are part of giving our life meaning and colour 🌈
