Over six weeks spent being back in Biarritz and this year feels like a real turning point for me.

I turn 50 soon! 😳
It’s made me pause and think about where I am, what I’m giving my energy to and how I actually want my days to feel. Less rushing. Less spinning plates. More space for the things that genuinely make me happy.

For me, a big part of that happiness comes from being here. Out of the UK, back by the sea, somewhere that still feels familiar and grounding. I lived in Biarritz for nearly six years and left fifteen years ago, but it’s amazing how easily life slips back into place.

I know I’m incredibly lucky to still have a place here, even if it does need another full renovation (my fourth in four years… which might be quite enough for now!).

What I’m learning is that finding balance doesn’t have to be dramatic or selfish. Sometimes it’s just about choosing differently. Stepping outside the box. And giving yourself permission to build a life that feels good, not just one that looks busy.

If you can, step outside that box a little and live a little wider. 🌊✨

Gosh, how have we got to another Christmas Eve?!
