We’re back home after our road trip from Louth to Littlehampton! One of the highlights of our business is how our customers become lifelong friends. It was so nice catching up with Sandy, who is affectionately known as Bots! We met through the lovely Pauline, owner of Funky Friends Factory, when Sandy became our Chief Sample Maker. A role she had been doing for several years at FFF.
A great friendship soon developed, along with regular banter and a shared sense of humour. If you have seen Jeff's Lederhosen outfit... yup, down to Bots, along with various other comedy items that we love.
Thank you, Sandy, for being a great friend. We really enjoyed our visit and meeting you and your family.
A big thank you to all our customers, who we consider friends too.

NO What's New Wednesday this afternoon.

I am having a scan on my ankle. Some of you may know I have arthritis in my back, so in constant pain that is affecting my legs too. We shall see what the results of this bring!

The good news is Mr Jeff has now got his Starlink; when we do Fastest Finger First on Saturday, it is going to be so much better! I am going to have a BIG CLEARANCE SALE to make way for LOTS of gorgeous NEW fabrics, so keep your notifications ON.

The other good news is I managed to finish off the ByAnnie.com and Patterns By Annie Catch All Caddy for one of my granddaughters, Milie, who was 21 at the end of July. She has just taken up cross-stitch, so the Liberty fabric and I Am a Maker were perfect for this job. She was so pleased with it, and sew am I.

Hello, September, and fans. September always feels like a new start to the year for me, maybe because it is my Birthday Month and quite a biggish one this year!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for FFF; apologies if you could not connect; it seems FB is playing up for quite a few small businesses recently, which sadly is beyond our control...we have, however, invested in a stronger internet connection, so fingers crossed Fastest Finger First on Saturday WILL be fast LOL.
I am working on last week's What's New Wednesday and Saturday invoices today, so keep an eye out for those dropping into your messenger. We visited family over the weekend, and I did manage to finish off the Catch All Caddy for our granddaughter's 21st. I shall post up pictures later.
What have you been working on over the Bank Holiday weekend? Hopefully lots of sewing was achieved.

You may know we moved recently to a new unit at Manby Park and whilst we are not a 'shop' due to the amount of shows we attend we are opening our doors to all those crafters and fabric lovers for a look around! If you are local to Louth, maybe on holiday or know someone who is let them know. It is not perfect BUT we do have lots of lovley goodies to see, so worth a visit.
