A brand new look for Gunton Community Hall.

This was hard work as the standard of the previous decorating wasn’t the best and with it being a community hall there’s a lot of footfall so it needs to last.

After roughly 40 hours of prep it was ready for painting!

All in durable matt, Dulux Timeless above and Dulux Village maze below rail. Woodwork primed and finished in Johnstones Aqua Satin, rail primed with a tinted shellac primer and finished in Black MSP.

Hard work but great to stand back upon completion and see the difference.

Wallpapering only to these two rooms. One Laura Ashley feature wall in the master bedroom and Next wallpaper to complete...

A freshen up with the same colour in a different base, taking it from a silk finish to a durable matt. Ceiling in vinyl matt and woodwork finished in Johnstones Aqua satin.

Always nice to do a few little exterior jobs over the summer since I stopped full exterior works a few years ago due to sub-contracting issues.

Rotten wood removed, treated, primed and filled for a solid base prior to painting.
Full prep, anthracite undercoat and 2x black Dulux weather shield satin.

all walls and woodwork sanded using dustless sanding setup and then full prep. Silk finish to ceiling/coving and vinyl Matt wall in two colours to brighten up the room. Water based gloss to woodwork.

I think this is the largest Hall I’ve decorated (it sure felt like it, in this heat!)🥵 entrance porch and loft access included.

Completed for one of my long term returning customers in Gorleston.

All white to ceilings and walls after all walls and woodwork sanded using dustless sanding setup and thorough prep. White woodwork finished in Crown Fastflow satin. All varnished woodwork left.

Full redec - white crown vinyl Matt to ceilings, Dulux durable matt emulsion in Egyptian Cotton and woodwork finished in Crown Fastflow satin.

Master bedroom & en-suite for a returning lovely couple in Gorleston.

Full redec - Crown white vinyl matt to ceiling and walls. Woodwork finished in Johnstones aqua satin.

All walls & woodwork sanded using dustless sanding setup. Hairline crack raked out, sealed and filled. Stubborn water stained window sill was sanded back to bare and had a coat of wood dye to soak into the grain and then two coats of a light oak varnish.
