2nd air intake removed from the mould but it was quite resin rich this time so was really hard to remove,the mould is pretty much destroyed now but the part came out really well just needed 2 small little bits of clear filler after I trimmed it up,weighed the 1st (89g) and the 2nd (125g) and the 2nd 1 shows it was resin rich in the weight difference,there will be a bit more weight to them both once laquered but itd not going to be much of an issue,also didnt realise id layed the 1st 2 sections of carbon different sides up so the weave goes in different directions when looking at the i take but will see what is said about the by the person they've been made for

Infused another air intake yesterday and then demoulded it today and trimmed it a little bit,just got a little bit more work to do to it 1 day during g the week and will get the 2nd intake layed up and hopefully infused 1 evening,needs a little bit of clear filler in a few small places then laquer it,it currently weighs 102 grams with little more trimming needed but clear coat will add a bit of weight also

Had to destroy the air intake part to get it off the mould,ive figured what the issue was and made some changes to the mould so hopefully that will work,I will get another part made during the week to hopefully make sure thats solved the issue,also managed to trim the surround for my defi display,went a little to far in a coyple of spots but nothing major and ill live with it for now,also sat the clock surround in place and should look smart on a car once its finished

Getting there slowly with bits and pieces,air intake i infused the other weekend is stuck to the mould so ill have to destroy the part to get it off and try again with some different mould release im waiting for,clock surrounds are looking ok though,just need to do a little more trimming for my defi screen to replace the gauges hopefully
