1st of 2 air intakes infused and will be cured tomorrow and hopefully will come out ok so I can make the 2nd intake,made some templates out of masking tape so I could cut the carbon to some easy shapes to lay it onto the mould,will see how it comes out as ive used 3 layers of carbon for the tube and 2 layers for the rest as im hoping it will make it flexible enough for making fitment a bit easier so will see when its cured and removed from the mould

Made the mould for the roof clock backing plates a few weeks ago,while I was.doing the sill cover over the weekend I decided to use some small pieces of carbon cloth I had laying around to make 2 back covers,came out pretty good trimmed them up and then tidied them up today,I noticed a small strand got caught up in the mould of 1 of the covers but wont notice if its ever fitted to a car,now I just need to get them laquered

Tried making the 1st sill cover the other day and had a massive air leak somewhere so wasnt the best start,left the vacuum pump running all night to counter act the issue but wasnt enough,also had issues with the mould release so the part wouldn't come out so had to destroy the mould aswell,part was a fail and needed to .take a new mould,thought id try a different way for the vacuum bagging so made a big envelope to hold the complete mould of the other sill cover and now have no air leaks atall so hopefully this part will come out ok,also waiting on the new replacement mould to cure for the other side

Some bits done in the garage today got the other s1 rsturbo side skirt all setup and waxed ready for gelcoat for its mould,also waxed the mould for the other s1 side skirts,also waxed the mould for the roof clock backing,also did some work getting an inlet duct modified to a 4 inch pipe for someone to then get a mould from it to make some carbon ducts,just needs some smoothing off to see where im at with it before making the mould

Had a play with my vinyl cutter again and made up 2 stickers for Kevin Cornes,they're made from 2 parts and I used the cut out sections to fill the same sections in the chrome green,i also cut some creations in carbon stickers too that ill send out when I get chance make nore bits,i also used the cutter to make a template for another carbon coaster

Also made a mould of the clock backing covers will remove the parts from the mould tomorrow see how the mould comes out,...

1 s1 rs turbo sill cover mould made will try make a carbon part during the week see how it comes out,these will have to be bonded on as trying to make the mounting points and covers would be a lot more work than its worth
