A closer look at the All-Dim 150W LED Dimmer Module.

Most dimmer modules make you work around them. This one is shaped around the job: enlarged terminals you can actually get a conductor into, and a compact body with an earth lug void so it drops into a back box without a fight. The slim, slightly off-centre spindle means it sits behind standard plates with our plate fit guarantee.

Then there's the dimming itself. OptiDim gives you fully programmable leading edge and trailing edge modes, an adjustable minimum brightness setting, and wide compatibility across LED lamp brands. 5W to 150W, with no maximum luminaire quantity.

Missed the SpeedLock308 launch? Here's the catch-up.

One question shaped the whole design: how much of a floodlight installation can be finished before the ladder even comes off the van?

Quite a lot, as it turns out. Developed in collaboration with WISKA UK Ltd and designed around the COMBI 308, SpeedLock308 lets the fitting be mounted and prepared at ground level, with the load carried by a fixing through the base of the bracket straight into the wall.

One month in, here's what installers are getting:

• Build and prepare at ground level
• One ladder trip, in the right installation
• Fewer holes in the wall, each one pre-marked
• Packaging that doubles as a drilling template
• Tool-less Quick-Lock nuts
• Neater rear cable management

Tool-Less Quick-Lock nuts allow for quick hand tightening, pre-marked mounting points simplify preparation, integrated rear cable management keeps everything organised, and even the packaging doubles as a drilling template.
