Eeeeek 🤩 yesterday me and had so much fun filming a show for the BBC with the most incredible bunch of humans 🫶🏼✨

Can you guess what show it’s for? I’ll give you some clues… 1️⃣ I got to spend all day doing something I love to do and chatting about it too! 2️⃣ I got to meet the super lovely who walked in and called me a ‘pretty little princess’ 🤭 3️⃣ I was paired up with the powerhouse that is and got to soak up all her knowledge 🫶🏼

We’re back filming again in a few weeks and you’ll be able to watch it on the BBC in Spring 2027 ✨ I actually got to the final 20 for a popular interior show TWICE and wasn’t chosen for the final selection TWICE 🤣🫣 but now I get to be on the BBC with fun with my best mate and doing something for an incredible cause 🩷

The bathroom cowboys are the gift that keeps on giving 🤪 took over a year before I’d realised but they’d drilled right through from the bathroom into Hens room - I had realised cz he had lots of things on shelves here, but I’m currently doing the worlds slowest makeover on his room (one step at a time 🤣) and today was time to get some panels up and move his TV so he can actually use it 🤪

Which of course - nothing is ever easy so we had to figure out a way to remove the ends of the giant screws sticking out first 🤪 Hen was highly amused by the firework display in his room - but I wouldn’t recommend using an angle grinder - it’s just all we had that would do the job 🤣

F❌ AI - I made these with my hands 💁🏼‍♀️ consider this my application to stop the endless emails I keep getting asking me to promote different AI programmes (it’s just not for me) 🤪 I’m an old school girlie that would rather spend a whole day making something with my hands and forgetting to drink any water 😅🫣

I actually find this topic quite tricky, but I was chatting to my Dad about it yesterday (he’s a musician) 🎵 and how many creative jobs are being lost to AI because it’s cheaper 😭 I do think there are roles AI has to play, and maybe the bigger issue is the cost of living crisis and all the stupid taxes added to small businesses? But it actually hurts my heart when I see local independents AI made flyers 🥲

I took Hen to a big ice show this summer and the WHOLE thing was AI music and I really struggled to enjoy it for that reason 🫣

I’m always open to discussion and hearing both sides 🫶🏼 so what are your thoughts? I see small businesses saving money with AI, but I also see people using AI to diagnose their ailments 😅 where do we draw the line? 🤔

Surely what we need more of right now is human connection and creativity 🎨 our brains and our hearts is what separates us from the robots 🤖

Let’s get ready for a new house guest 🐾 yes, I have indeed spent all day cleaning, tidying and ticking off odd jobs in preparation for adding a 4th furry friend to the house for the next week 🤪

Everyone meet Mabel 🩷 Angus’ girlfriend and our neighbours dog who is staying over for the week 🫶🏼 she’s quite the character so I’m sure will be under my feet whilst I’m filming stuff over the next week 🤣 and Ringo has already walked up to her and let her know that even though he’s the smallest in the house - he is in fact the boss 🤣

Side note - I got Joe a cute pink glass chicken for his eggs and he STILL leaves them in the box 🫠 and I’m in desperate need of new cushions for the lounge too 🤪 do we think Mabel appreciates that I restock the wallpaper in the bay window for her? 🤣

Welcome to my next project ✨ and my biggest project yet! This is a bit of a different style of content for me, but this one is very close to my heart and I felt it was the best way to introduce you to what I’m working hard on behind the scenes 🫶🏼

It’s a TIGHT budget and an even tighter turnaround so you can expect lots of little hacks and tips I’ll be sharing whilst I bring this one to life 🩷 I’m already 4 days deep and extremely overwhelmed 😅 but that’s also because they can’t sleep in here due to breathing issues (and no bed) whilst I’m trying to pull off the makeover of the century 🤣

ad/pr These drawers have been shouting at me to be upcycled for YEARS 😅 I have one in my craft room and one in my office and after my bin upcycle fiasco I refused to paint them 🫠 in steps the lovely .kooky who even changed the colours so it was exactly what I wanted 🤩 (another reason to love and support small businesses 💪🏼) 🩷❤️

ad Building my husband his dream music studio 🎵 part two 🥹 and just like that… it’s done 🤩 our creative family studio with high end music studio vibes on one side and Barbie’s dream house on the other 🤣

I honestly can’t rave about these black oak panels from enough 🤩 SO much better (and quicker) that simply painting the walls - and we’ve all not been out of here since we finished 🤭

It’s time to reveal the truth - part three of our dream bathroom nightmare 😭

There is so much I thought I was ready for going into this renovation - the room is literally 1.8m x 1.8m - how long could it really take? And how much upset would I really have to deal with?! 🫠 how naive!!

It feels so silly to say, but looking back on pictures and videos so I can finally share everything that happened has been surprisingly harder than I thought 😅 why did I cry so many tears over a bloody bathroom?! 🫣
