✨ Just a little reminder… ✨
Not everything I make starts with a finished pattern or a detailed plan.
Sometimes someone comes into the shop with just a spark of an idea, a particular colour scheme in mind, a photo they love, or simply asks, “I wonder if something like this is possible?”
And often, it is. 😊

Whether it’s a bespoke dreamcatcher like the one in image.png, a detailed mandala, a custom piece of macramé, or something completely unique, I’m always happy to sit down, have a chat, and see what we can create together.

So if you’ve got a creative project in mind but you’re not entirely sure where to start, just ask. No pressure, no obligation—just a friendly conversation. Some of my absolute favourite pieces have started with someone saying, “This might be a silly question, but…”

🌧️ It’s raining, the High Street is a little quieter than usual, and apparently I can’t sit still for five minutes. 😆

Someone kindly gave me a few rolls of yarn they couldn’t get on with, so I decided to put it to good use and experiment with one of my crochet mandalas.

The question is…

✨ Fringe or no fringe? ✨

I might be slightly biased because I made it… but I think I actually prefer it with the fringe! 🤍

It’s funny how one little change can completely alter the look and feel of a piece.

Is it just me, or does sunshine completely change the mood of a room? ☀️✨

I was doing a little bit of tidying around the shop today when the afternoon sun suddenly started pouring through the windows… and I completely stopped what I was doing because everything was glowing 👀

The depth in the amber heart, the tiny sparkling crystals inside the agate, the way the light catches the silver… photos honestly don’t do them justice. I had to take a little video so you could see how beautiful they look moving in the sunlight ✨

Moments like this always remind me why I love what I do so much. Sometimes it’s the tiny details you only notice when you slow down for a second 💜

Sometimes I forget that not everyone knows where we are.

So here’s our little corner of Mablethorpe. 💜

We’re tucked away on the High Street, surrounded by all the hustle and bustle of market days, cups of tea, friendly faces, and the occasional seagull keeping an eye on things. 😅

It’s hard to believe that just over a year ago we picked up the keys to our very first shop, and now here we are in our High Street home.

If you’ve never visited before, we’re at 96 High Street, Mablethorpe.

💡 I had a bit of a lightbulb moment …

People are always saying:

“Don’t spend money on things. Spend it on experiences. You can’t take things to the grave, but memories last forever.”

But then I got thinking…

You can’t take the things to the grave…

but you can’t take the memories to the grave either. 🤷‍♀️

And what if I get dementia?

Then all those expensive memories are gone anyway.

At least if I’d spent the money on pretty earrings, I’d have some lovely stock for my shop one day. 😂✨

I’m not saying I’ve solved life’s biggest philosophical question…

…but I am saying a nice pair of earrings suddenly feels like a very sensible investment. 😆
