As Debbie Goldsmith’s wonderful exhibition draws to a close, we’re celebrating with a Cheese & Wine Evening on Thursday 3rd September, 6.30–8.30pm 🍷🧀🎨

Join us at Art in the Stables at Martha Rose Interiors for a relaxed evening of art, conversation, cheese and wine, and a final opportunity to see Debbie’s collection of original paintings and beautiful hand-made rugs together in the gallery.

The exhibition officially closes on Saturday 5th September, so if you’ve been meaning to visit, this is the perfect excuse.

Two national award finalist nominations… we’re absolutely delighted! 🏆🏆

We’re incredibly proud to share that Martha Rose Interiors has been named a finalist in two prestigious national awards.

When we opened our showroom, our vision was simple, to create a destination where people could discover exceptional flooring, inspiring art and beautiful interiors, all backed by expert advice and personal service.

To now be recognised nationally in not one, but two award programmes is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to our amazing team, whose passion and dedication make Martha Rose Interiors what it is every single day. Thank you to our talented fitters, our incredible artists, our trusted suppliers, our wonderful customers, our family and friends, and everyone who has supported us along the way. We simply couldn’t have done it without you.

A Building With A Story… ❤️

Long before Martha Rose Interiors welcomed customers through these doors, this beautiful building had already been part of Macclesfield’s story for almost two centuries.

The plaque on the wall tells us that The Old Stables was erected in 1837, lovingly restored in 1994, and officially reopened by Nicholas Winterton MP.

We’ve also been lucky enough to uncover an old photograph showing the building during its working days, complete with a horse and cart waiting outside. It’s amazing to imagine the people, horses, businesses and stories these walls have witnessed over the last 188 years.

When we renovated the showroom, preserving the character of this incredible building was just as important as creating a beautiful space inside.

We’re incredibly proud to be writing the next chapter in the history of The Old Stables through Martha Rose Interiors and Art in the Stables Gallery.

What a fantastic day at our latest exhibition at Art in the Stables! 🎨🥂

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our talented artists, browse the gallery, enjoy some refreshments, and spend time with us. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces alongside lots of new visitors discovering Martha Rose Interiors for the first time.

Events like these are all about bringing our community together, celebrating local creativity, and making our showroom a place where people can feel inspired, whether they’re looking for beautiful artwork, stunning flooring, or simply a warm welcome.
