Lots of craft activities done this weekend with the boys. (Ages 6 and 4) scented candle making and Christmas decoration making (fun craft kit found in local charity shop) (candles made with soya wax and set in old jam/pesto jars) (cedarwood and thyme) lovely fun. (Now need to do lots of tidying)

Heya, just a quick introduction. We enjoy making scented candles and also we love upcycling old objects into lamps. The trumpet one was a very old broken trumpet that we turned into a lamp. The other is made from an old antique brass jug that we have had for years. We made the lampshade from hessian.

Making 4 Cedarwood & Thyme scented candles this morning. I am melting down the last little bits of advent candles from Christmas time and reusing old jars of mustard and Christmas chutneys. This means the candles are quite a mix of colours from the previous candles, but they still have a beautiful calming scent.

Welcome to Malmesbury Candles. A tiny little one person thing. Initially I was making scented candles for myself and think it would be fun to make it into something that other people may like as well. I am making some Cedarwood and Thyme candles this evening. (with a slight hint of black pepper)
