Hi, my name is Rachel. I’ve always had a love for sewing, it’s always been something that makes me happy and puts a smile on my face.

After having my second son and my maternity leave ending, I decided it was time in my life to do something that would truly make me happy. So i quit my job and set up Sew Hanson, I have a really supportive husband who believes in me and everything i do - good job really :)

It’s always been my dream to have my own business and make it a success. I spend my evenings sewing and making loads of lovely items - during the day im a mum to a very energetic 5 year old and 1 year old.
