Workshop Wednesday MCR is a female-founded home décor company whilst also runs workshops in the city. Using primarily reclaimed and sustainably sourced wood from local suppliers, alongside thrifted items - i create home decor for like-minded people.

Excited to announce another workshop held at the beautiful venue Chapter One Books in Manchester 🌿⚒️

Chapter One Books is just off Piccadilly Gardens, known for its nooks for losing yourself in a book, meeting up with a friend or enjoying a coffee and croissant whilst doing some work.

Friday the 23rd of February I'll be hosting a box making workshop for 8 people, where I'll guide you through the process of making boxes and teach you the basics of woodwork. You'll have a choice of how your box will look and be able to add customisations.

These boxes are perfect for jewellery, crystals, keepsakes, collectables, to use to give presents the list is endless.

Come learn a new skill, meet some great people and enjoy a wholesome night.

I've been thinking about making a lamp featuring a bowler hat for awhile now, but as with most projects I wait until I've found the perfect pieces to the puzzle before I crack on with the build.

There's still one modification I want to make inside the hat to amplify the glow of the bulb, finishing touches taking place this week, then it will be in my shop ready to find a home 🎩💡
