Playing it safe and going all white, is killing your projects potential so, over the next few weeks I will be talking about colour and how to use it confidently to create a space that FEEL'S great.

Whether you are after, a cosy home from home feeling or an exciting insta worthy party pad, getting the right colour palette (and lighting, but we will come on to that) is essential.

Trying to create the new office and studio whilst working and having to learn new skills has been a slog and has taken time BUT we are so proud of the work we've done.

Finish the plaster boarding by Monday so the electrician can finish second fix on Tuesday.

Then painting the anchor colour before laying the flooring and skirting boards.

Still a long way to go but at least its easier jobs.

How Rude!!!!

That was my initial thought when someone sent me a DM to point out all my spelling mistakes in a recent post 😄

BUT when I thought about it, I realised that my poor typing skills (not spelling) made my posts human. Do I use Ai on a daily basis? Of course I do, it would be crazy not to but I use it to enhance my customer service, my images and my writing. But to do this I have to put in the work first, so please excuse my typo's going forward. 💻

All of the images used in this post were rendered using Gemini. But, to get the Ai bot to produce the exact design to look and feel exactly as the I intended, I had to carry out indepth research, create the concept, figure out how to utilise every inch of space, develop the design, choose the materials & finishes and build the 3D files using Sketchup. All of this 'human led' activity just so that I could feed the correct information into Gemini and create a prompt that works.

Is this cheating or just being more productive?

Progress at Casa Griffith.

So much still to do but I can't wait for this to be ready!!!!

Next jobs are Insulation and plaster boarding. Then we will do a rough plaster finish so it is in keeping with the rest of the property. Then we can get the electrician back to finish his bits.
