We are celebrating the fortunes of moving from our front Gallery on Beech Road to the 'Shed Studio' we originally created many years ago at the rear of the Front Gallery/shop front spaces.
As part of our semi-retirement we have completed our move there, and as 'Artists in Residence', running Craft Courses, (see our website for the full programme) and selling our own Framed Art Work from the walls, we can enjoy the less pressured time with others.
Thanks to Jack Lloyd of HOB (owner of the 2 front gallery-spaces on Beech Road) taking all the management of the gallery, studio and garden areas we are able at last to enjoy being creative in these spaces - Shed and Garden - that we designed and 'recycled' (with Jack) 18 years ago. Its a great opportunity and so lovely to have the time to meet people and not be rushing to organise others !!! Thanks Jack.
We hope you visit us too. Since February, whilst we have been transitioning from the 'front' to the 'back', we have run weekly at least a couple of craft courses , and we have welcomed many of our followers, as well as new customers there.
We have upgraded the 'Shed' Studio, and the artwork - a full range of framed Art- available to buy, and gradually upgrading the Garden too...... overgrown in parts, but more space now for visitors, and small events. Thank you to those who visited during the Chorlton Arts Festival, and to Claire Mooney (singer-songwriter) for her lovely mini-concert, and introduction to her published Anthology. We are always available via email, for course bookings - see our website - and if we are not around at the Studio, it will still be open and run by Jack's team 6 days a week 10 - 5 pm to buy our work. Tuesday - Sunday.
