Bank holiday weekend incoming!

And it's the last one of the year, so to make sure it's a good one we recommend:

🌸 Filling your space with flowers (naturally!)

🍹 Getting out in the garden. Or buying a houseplant and drinking margaritas instead.

💐 Accepting every BBQ invitation... but securing your place on the next guest list by arriving with flowers.

🎨 Deciding to redecorate...before realising a vase of fresh flowers was actually the transformation the room needed.

🪴 Embarking on a big declutter and then immediately filling the space with 3 new plant babies.

🥂 Inviting friends over, putting flowers on the table and pretending you always make this much effort.

🌺 Buying yourself flowers because Bank Holiday Monday is an occasion. We don't make the rules.

Fresh flowers won’t answer your emails.

They won’t fold the washing.

And sadly, they won’t make dinner either.

But they will brighten a room, encourage you to slow down for a moment and make everyday life feel just a little bit lovelier.

Sometimes that’s reason enough to treat yourself 💕

So she's been promoted to chief tout, which interestingly enough is also known as a barker.

Go figure.

Can we talk about amaranthus for a moment...? 💚

If there's one flower having a real moment in summer weddings, it's amaranthus.

Its trailing shape brings movement.

Its fresh chartreuse tone softens even the most elegant white palette.

And somehow it manages to feel contemporary and timeless all at once.

We paired it with layers of hydrangeas and roses for a recent shoot at Didsbury House Hotel & Eleven Didsbury Park Hotel , and we honestly can't get enough of it.

It's just one of the summer wedding trends we've explored in our latest blog.

As we roll into the final week of August, whether that's a lazy roll out of bed, a silly roll down a hill with the kids or a guilty holiday indulgence roll 😉, take a moment to soak in the last of summer's blooms.

Their colour, their scent, their magnificent height.

All too soon we'll be craving cosy candles, deep-hued hydrangeas and pumpkin spice lattes, which we're here for as much as the next person, but right now we want to wallow in the fading long days, hang on to our flip flops a little while longer and cherish summer's glorious floral beauty.

Our summer collection is a radiant celebration of sunshine and joy featuring larkspur, stocks, roses, antirrhinum, clematis and daisies arranged in our signature Flower Lounge loose and flowing style. Treat yourself before the sun goes down... ☀️

We’re seeing couples embrace flowers that feel seasonal, natural and full of movement.

Think locally grown peonies, flowering mint, foxgloves and delicate garden flowers arranged in loose, organic designs that feel as though they’ve always belonged there.

It’s one of our favourite summer wedding trends because it celebrates the season rather than fighting against it.
