The Naked Candle Co is a small batch candle company based in Manchester, England. Built on a passion for quality candles and a drive to bring something different to the market place at a reasonable price. All of our candles are hand poured with soy wax, cotton and linen wicks and carefully selected fragrances.

Last night we gave our website a much-needed refresh.

What we didn’t realise was quite how many things we’d accidentally break in the process

We’re working through everything as quickly as we can, but if you spot anything that doesn’t look right, isn’t loading properly, or isn’t working as it should, we’d be incredibly grateful if you could let us know.

Maybe it’s because we’re selling something a little special rather than something ordinary. Almost every customer interaction we have is a happy one, and we never take that for granted.

But what makes us happiest is taking a step back and being grateful.

One year ago, we stepped foot into 698 Oldham Road with a simple idea — maybe we could have a shop at the front of a studio.

We went back and forth, telling ourselves it wouldn’t work… but the idea never left us. So, we took a gamble.

Is it a bit tight? Yes.
Should we outgrow it? Absolutely.

But this little space is our heart. It’s where we stepped up and stepped out. It’s part of our story — and a chapter we hope we never have to close.

We might dream of growing, of becoming a household name… but we hope this shop always keeps us grounded — a reminder of where it all began, and the happiness we’ve built along the way.
