Happy Manchester Pride! ❤️

I have everything I’ve ever wanted, yet I still have moments when I take it for granted, I think that’s just being human. The difference is that I recognise when those moments happen, and I try to rectify them to be the best version of myself.

Making mistakes is normal and natural, but owning them is the absolute best thing you can do in any situation. Pride doesn't do anyone any favours.

Just a reminder that your life doesn't have to be perfect to be perfect. 🫶🏼

A project I did in the past for a lovely family.

This was a dormer loft conversion which was finished poorly. Around the window the plaster board was cut too short and they just plaster on top, they did the wrong holes for the lights on the ceiling (around 6) and they just covered that with some plaster, they had all the edges around the doors and chemey cut shorter and the patch plaster came off.

It is funny that the plaster was actually looking nice over all, but this is what happens when people are cutting corners.

My customer reaction at the end was all worth it.

Our family saved this cabinet from a family in Preston, we bought it from Gumtree and it was exactly what we needed for this space, this is made from a mango tree and they tend to be a bit red or a strong colour when treated.

So this was great for our space but we didn't like the colour, nothing the can't fix, we sanded everything and started from scratch, we went for 2 coats of Oil stain tabbaco and Polyx oil clear Matt 1 coat for protection. People involved, me, my wife and my baby girl.

I absolutely love the colour and how it turned out!

Starting a new job today and I'm in love with this door stopper. It is the cutest thing I've seen in wood shaped, this door stopper made my day.

Absolutely nothing to do with painting, but painting is a living and this is what I'm living for. Something I forgot to pause and breathe.
