We believe an architect has a plethora of responsibilities, as the connotations and values associated with design are just as important as the emphasis placed on its aesthetics. Thus, we feel that a building is not only a compilation of bricks and mortar, but rather a record of how we organise and live our lives. A house, for example, only becomes a home when families evolve and individuals live,
work and socialise, with the end result being the personalisation of their habitat. Currently, the field of contemporary architecture finds itself at the upper echelons of innovative design disciplines, as new concerns for sustainability and building performance are given greater levels of importance. We try to get involved as much as possible with any project we get involved with, whether that is physically getting involved with the building work or continuing to work on the designs and revisiting them to ensure client satisfaction and practicality. We therefore aim to contribute to the integration of these new concepts and technologies into modern architecture and hope to practice and research in the area of technological integration of modern day technologies, in architecture via the expansion of ML Design. Both of these approaches will allow us the opportunity to aid in the formation of a creative and progressive society.
