Grey had a long, long run... but I’m calling it, the rich, earthy tones of brown are officially making a massive comeback!

As the nights draw in, clients are asking me for spaces that feel less clinical and much warmer. They want cosy snugs, restful bedrooms, and dining rooms that invite you to sit down. Brown is the ultimate 'hug' for your walls.

But don’t think back to your nan's dodgy 70s décor! Today's browns are sophisticated, think deep chocolate feature walls, calming mushroom-taupes for the whole room, or vibrant terracottas that glow with warmth.

If you’re ready to ditch the cold greys, drop us a message or get a quote at stag-painting-and-decorating.co.uk. Let’s make your space cosy!

It’s !🍰

I'll be honest, my baking skills stop somewhere around a slightly burnt slice of toast😅.

But painting a room is a bit like baking a good cake. It’s all about using the right ingredients and not cutting corners on the recipe.

You can buy the fanciest paint in the world, but if you use cheap brushes, skip the primer, or rush the drying times, the whole thing falls flat!

We'll leave the star bakes to Paul Hollywood, but if you want your home looking sweet for the holidays, drop us a message or head over to stag-painting-and-decorating.co.uk!

Ever avoided ordering something at a pub because they've called a burger the most insane name?😅

Paint manufactures also have a habit of calling Blue... well, not blue🤣

Can you guess which one of these three names is ACTUALLY a real paint shade?🤔

It’s today💚.

I’m not going to pretend I’ve got some big bit of advice to give, but it is a good reminder to check in on yourself and the people around you.

Work gets busy, life gets busy, and before you know it you’ve gone weeks without properly switching off.

For me, sometimes it’s just getting home, putting my feet up and having a brew☕.

Doing the job I do, I spend a lot of time in people’s homes and workplaces, and you do notice how much nicer it feels when you’ve got somewhere you can actually relax at the end of the day😌.

But more importantly, check in on your mates, family and work colleagues. You don’t always know what someone’s got going on, and sometimes a quick message or a chat over a cuppa is all it takes.
