A happy new year to you all!

The family went to the Whitwell And Reepham Station to see Lawrie to deliver a little present and to have a ride on a train.

A massive thank you to Lawrie for the added bonus of a guided tour around some of the Whitwell sidings - it was lovely to hear about a number of the projects going in on within the LMM loco fleet.

It's been a long time since the last post, but I certainly have been busy over the year.

Earlier in the year, I was asked to commission a headboard for a proposal.

The grand plan was to have this on the jackabite steam train.

She said yes! And the plan went off without a hitch.

A massive congratulations to the happy couple. I'm sure the wedding will be just as epic as the proposal!

Was asked to commission a headboard for the epic 10 day journey that is the Great Britain, which now has completed it's 16th year.

One of these days I will treat myself and wife to this. But definitely a few more pennies are needed to save for this trip.

Overall, I am very pleased on how this has turned out.

Over the last 2 1/2 years almost every project has been a learning curve on how to do things better for the business. From material selection, optimising the CNC, and finishing techniques. As well as customer service.

After a 2 recent incidents of damage due to heavy handling by a courier, it's time to try and improve. So a trial of this foam edging with the usual bubble wrap is in order.

I shall soon find out whether this is successful.
