The making of some beautiful reactive glass earrings. This is the first of two stages, applying silver leaf and various glass powders onto handcut white reactive glass. These will be fired overnight in the small red kiln.

A little bit of autumn 🍁 a beautiful unique new wildflower meadow necklace.

Made by producing a reaction during the firing process between reactive white glass, silver leaf and glass powders. The reaction produces unique golden and purple hues within the glass. Once cooled I handcut the glass to shape and apply the enamel wildflower design onto the glass.
A final firing fuses the enamel onto the glass and also smooths the edges. A beautiful necklace. Listed in my Etsy shop.

Well we didn't forget the clock changed this morning. But instead our fire alarm went off at 7am. Darn thing scared the begeezus out of us. Think it must have picked up the smoke from next doors home fire. Oh well, I will make a nice coffee or two to compensate for it. Happy Sunday. ☕
