My project today to give this lady a face lift using Johnstone’s Revive chalky furniture paint in little beau blue... one coat in and looking so much better than undressed xx

This week is all about my spare room makeover. Giving one end a steam punk theme as I have a beautiful Georgian clerks desk and as it’s dark oak and the room is mostly white and pale green and it’s ‘L’ shaped I can create a two style room with a cleverly place voile curtain....pictures will follow but for now just some of the bits going in... wallpaper to go up and change of flooring xx

Makeover of a Queen Anne style dresser. Had to strip off the veneer from top and sides as this had blistered badly. Stripped off the lacquer from front and legs and will sand down when totally dry. Glued and used a Spanish tourniquet to pull the piece together (my dads very good suggestion) So now for a cup of tea and give my hands a rest xx
