Bold, balanced and beautifully striped. 🤎

Introducing Ballycastle Stripe by Ian Mankin – a refined, graphic take on the classic stripe.

Fine linear detailing is layered over a bold wide-stripe and colour-blocked design, creating a pattern that feels distinctive yet wonderfully versatile.

Woven from 100% cotton with a subtle herringbone weave, Ballycastle Stripe has a soft, tactile quality with the durability needed for everyday interiors. Its warm taupe tones create a relaxed, neutral feel, making it a beautiful choice for curtains, blinds and upholstery.

Part of the Beacons Collection, this contemporary stripe brings a fresh take to a timeless pattern and works effortlessly across a range of interiors.

✨ Come and see our samples in store. Sometimes it’s the fabric you can see and feel that makes all the difference.

🏆 WE COULDN’T BE PROUDER! 🏆

A very special moment for our family and our business…

Our son Freddie, who has recently started his career as a flooring apprentice, has won an award at the National Flooring Awards! 🎉

To see him recognised by the flooring industry at a national level is something we are incredibly proud of. Freddie has worked so hard, shown such a fantastic attitude and is already making his mark in an industry he is passionate about.

Starting out as an apprentice and being recognised alongside some of the best in the industry is an incredible achievement — and we couldn’t be more excited to see where his flooring career takes him.

Well done Freddie! ❤️ We are unbelievably proud of you!

We’re loving the elegant simplicity of this beautiful combination from Romo

The Kyri Linen Blend in Oat and Lichen work so beautifully together, creating a soft, understated contrast that adds a lovely decorative detail to these curtains.

The textured bouclé and subtle lustre bring just the right amount of interest, while keeping the overall look calm and timeless.

Sometimes, it’s the simplest combinations that make the biggest impact.

We can create this look as made-to-measure curtains or blinds, tailored perfectly to your space.

🏆🌟 WE HAVE SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS! 🌟🏆

OUR VERY OWN FREDDIE BELLAMY HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR A RISING STAR AWARD AT THE NATIONAL FLOORING AWARDS! 🎉👏

What an incredible achievement in the first year of his apprenticeship!

We couldn’t be prouder of Freddie and everything he has achieved since joining the family business here at Brookside Carpets & Curtains. ❤️

Freddie is now the third generation of his family to join Brookside, and watching him learn, grow and become part of the business has been incredibly special.

Over the past year, he has been:

👏 Learning new skills & studying hard on his placement
👏 Gaining valuable experience fitting flooring
👏 Developing a real practical understanding of the flooring industry
👏 Learning to fit blinds, curtains, track, poles and shutters
👏 Taking his driving lessons so that he can soon start working independently

He’s worked incredibly hard, taken on new challenges and continues to learn something new every day.

🌟 The Rising Star Award aims to recognise and celebrate young people who are making their mark and helping to shape the future of the flooring industry — and we think Freddie is a fantastic example of exactly that.

From the very start of his apprenticeship, it’s been wonderful watching Freddie find his feet and grow in confidence.

We are so, so proud of you, Freddie! ❤️

Whatever happens at the award ceremony on the 19th September , being nominated is a fantastic achievement in itself — and you’re already a winner in our eyes! 🏆🌟

Well done, Freddie! 👏❤️
