This weekend has been all about painting - bees, a butterfly, a dragonfly and a special project 🤫 Put some flowers I'd finished into the garden too.

Busy weekend making and painting. Smaller rabbit made and getting first coat of grey, 5 cats finished ready for their new home, 2 bees and a butterfly started, with a dragonfly prepped. Still plenty to do even once these are done! Remaining list: bootjack, frog, 2 cats and 2 dragonflies.

It's too cold for painting, even with the stove going, so have been experimenting with something different today. This is a work in progress with plenty more internal pieces to go in. It is only tacked together but fairly pleased with it so far. Not used to welding with this thinner material so that has proved a challenge. Will need plenty of cleaning up with the grinder but got to learn somehow 🤷🏼‍♀️

So, this is what I've done today. Need something better for the tail - maybe some wool but worked with what I had in my craft boxes. Debating whether to paint him or leave him plain and just lacquer...🤔
