I am proud to say that I created this two-tier rattan stand design a few years ago, and it has since become one of our most popular pieces.

Originally designed as a fruit stand, customers have found so many other uses for it too — from organising vegetables in the kitchen to storing toiletries and towels in a bathroom corner.

Its compact footprint makes it perfect for those awkward corners that are often left unused, adding both practical storage and natural texture to your home.

May Round-Up at URU ☀️🌿

May started off a little cold and wet, but eventually the sunshine arrived and made everything feel brighter.

One thing that is always changing at URU Home is our shop window display. Depending on the season, the weather, and new arrivals, I am constantly moving things around and creating new displays.

It is one of my favourite parts of having a physical shop. I love imagining how the window might catch someone’s eye and encourage them to step inside and discover our collections.

And yes, we are dog-friendly too! 🐾 Our four-legged visitors are always welcome, and little ones know they can pop over to the counter for a treat.

Thank you to everyone who visited us in May, whether in person in Marlow or online. Your support means so much to a small independent business like ours.

A lovely day here in Marlow ☀️

It has been slightly quieter than usual today, perhaps after the bank holiday weekend — but one of the lovely benefits of our beautiful listed building is that the shop stays wonderfully cool during the warmer days ✨

Today, I had a customer tell me they found us through Google and discovered that we are based here in Marlow. As they also live in Buckinghamshire, they decided to make the trip to visit the shop and see our collections in person, which was so lovely to hear — and exactly why having a physical shop means so much to us 🤍
