Happy Friday.

Planning a little more outdoor dining while summer is still with us?

A water jug is one of those summer table essentials — and our thermal jugs are perfect for keeping drinks hot or cold.

We’ve always stocked them in our traditional natural rattan colour, but this year we took a little risk and introduced sage green and turquoise blue.

It seems you love the colours as much as we do, and now there are only a couple left in stock.

Here’s to a relaxing weekend ahead.

One of my favourite parts of the day is once the shop has closed for the day — a quiet moment to move things around, refresh the tablescape and give the shop a little change.

A little something different from URU Home.

We don’t only do baskets…

We also have our collection of hand-blown recycled glassware.

As we slowly look ahead to the changing season, this deep amber colour feels just right — warm, rich and perfect for bringing a little autumn glow to the table.

Although we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet.

What a busy day in the shop today.

We’ve only recently introduced our new rattan lantern collection, and we’re still waiting for the professional photos before adding them to the website.

But they’re already in the shop, and they keep finding their new homes. Here are some very happy customers with their new lanterns — and of course, we had their permission to share these lovely moments.

One of the best things about having a physical shop is being able to introduce new pieces straight away and see how customers respond to them.
