Here’s proof that you don’t need a traditional brick chimney breast to make a fireplace work! 😍 We recently installed this cylindrical wood burner right in the corner of a light-filled garden room, and the result is total interior inspo.

By tucking the stove into the glass corner on a sleek teardrop hearth, it frames the view of the garden without blocking any of that beautiful natural light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The soft curves of the stove balance out the clean lines of the glass, making the whole room feel open, bright and cosy all at once.

Did you know we also offer gas fire services? 🔥

Here we’ve stripped back the open gas basket, safely isolated the gas supply and clean out the internal burner tray, as well as check all the gas pressures and connections.

Once the safety checks are complete, we clean the brushed steel chamber and reset the ceramic coals before firing it back up to test the flame picture.

Behind the scenes of this build - swipe through for a quick peek behind the scenes at our latest job! The team is on site fitting this massive three-sided glass fire. 🔥

Before the studwork, plaster and final finishes go up, there’s a ton of heavy lifting and precise measuring happening behind the scenes. We’ve got the flue angled just right to clear the joists overhead, and we’ve just lit the first test fire to check the draw and make sure everything is running perfectly before it gets boxed in.

There’s something really cool about seeing the raw steel frame and the open engine before it all gets covered up.

Can’t wait to show you what this looks like when the room is finished! 🏠

Honestly, *this* would be the absolute dream in this heatwave... ☀️ A quick dip in the pool followed by some incredible, slow-cooked food on a kamado. (We can’t help you with the pool, but we can absolutely sort you out with the grill!)
