Afternoon into evening 🔥, swipe to see the before stages. I’ve not done a little house update in a while! I forget how far we have come in a relatively short time, there are still jobs to finish and painting to do/redo but it’s home now. The focus has been on the outside space for the past month or so, which is very overwhelming, but we will get there! BTW the paint on the fireplace wall was exactly the same one I originally tried on the wall but mixed 1:10 with white emulsion 🤣 saving every penny!

What’s different about our living wreaths?
If you are local to Wirksworth you will have seen these over the years when I attend the markets or more recently stocked at The Leafy Snug. My vison has never changed; to produce something truly unique each time with my own method whereby the plant is not pierced or harmed in any way.
I’ve spent a number of years trying to perfect my technique in making these into truly living wreaths, for me this means no wire pierced through the plant itself, no cocktail sticks and no glue! I don’t create them with a temporary idea in mind, they are yours to treasure for years to come. Each little plant has a root system and is already growing! A truly sustainable technique to ensure they are not a throw away item. You can order direct to collect or they can be posted out in the UK. Please support your local grower.
