Spring doesn’t ask permission. It simply arrives — and so do we. The barn is awake, the first flowers of the season are in, and a new Opinel knife is sharp and ready to go.
I always feel the start of wedding season is like getting ready to go back to school, new pencil case, new shoes and a fresh hair cut. In my case these days, a replacement stock of my favourite knife. Never been able to use scissors!

Our Remembering Mum workshop returns this March.

We created this class last year for those who have lost their mum, and it became one of the most meaningful days we’ve ever held in the studio. Gentle, thoughtful and quietly beautiful.

Together, we’ll create a seasonal arrangement in her memory, with space to reflect, share stories if you wish, or simply spend time with the flowers.

No experience is needed. Everything is provided.

If this feels like something you need this year, you would be so welcome.

Spaces are limited to keep the group intimate.

Happy Valentines lovers.

I love the palette cleanse that washes over our world for the next few weeks, Spring is given a clear run at blooming around us.

Glaring reds will be stripped from the retail world and no doubt be replaced with hot cross buns, but I can live with that.
