Have to admit this cake wasn’t made by me… it was made by hubby for my birthday so I guess it’s mine to share right (tho sharing cake is not something I take lightly 😂)

Good morning everyone!
Day three of our make it your way challenge and today’s subject is to show you a detail in our work…
This one was definately detailed… 😂
It was the first time I attempted this type of design and involved a LOT of very fine detailed vinyl weeding, but I think it was definitely worth the effort, it turned out fabulous even if I say so myself! The pictures show the original photo, the edited photo, the design on my light box after weeding and the final framed print -
I had several orders for similar style pictures after posting this one and even did some on cushions and bags - very detailed and challenging, but very rewarding when they turned out as expected!

Good morning everyone!
Following on from my post yesterday about the challenge I’m taking part in I thought I would re/introduce myself and my little business to you! Some of you may already know me but some of you are new here so let’s go…
Hi, I’m Sam… wife, mother (to now grown up children), mummy to our 2 dogs Ruby & Eddie and grandma to my little dachshund grandpup Reggie! I work full-time and am “helping” (ok, supervising 😂) with the house renovation so I’m kept pretty busy. I like to think I’m funny, and admit to being a bit weird/quirky and I love a bit of sarcasm!
I always loved art and crafts as a kid and re-found the love for it and began creating and crafting again in 2008, initially as a hobby making gifts for friends and family, but some of the gifts were so well received that I had people wanting to order for their friends and family… and so my little business began 😊
There have been some name changes along the way, I was originally Millcraft Design but life overtook and crafting time wasn’t always possible and things lapsed, especially posting to my page and advertising my products!
Following our move to a (full renovation job) farmhouse in Scotland last year, we decided my new craft room will be in the “Coo Hoose” so it felt l like a perfect time to rename, rebrand and try to rebuild my business - a new start in every sense!
What do I make? Well… just about everything! 🤣 I’m a craft hoarder!
I started out gluing/glittering and hand decorating, progressed to include vinyl decorations, then took a leap and bought a laser… and then a bigger laser!
I love to make cute/quirky/funny stuff… home decor items or gifts for all sorts of occasions, I use my laser a lot now which involves lots of digital design which was a huge learning curve but I still like to hand decorate/paint and try to combine when I can - I especially love to make bespoke personalised items! The best bit in the whole process for me is when the recipient gets their item and they love it!

Good morning!
January felt like it was never going to end, but here we are in February at long last!
You may all know that we moved to Scotland almost a year ago, it’s been the best thing we did, but has involved a lot of work which hasn’t left much time for crafting and definately not much time for posting… I love to craft but admit I’m rubbish at social media…
So I have joined a group of my lovely crafty friends for a month long challenge called 'Make it your way' - we are a diverse group of crafters who are all going to work together to motivate each other and try to get our social engagement on track along the way.
We will interpret each prompt in our own way so our content will be varied! I hope you can join us on our little journey, your support would mean so much and it won’t cost you a penny (unless you see something you want to buy 😊) but a like, a share or comment will definitely boost our motivation and might even promote a chain of little happy dances!

We uncovered this huge water trough buried in a mountain of grass and weeds… the dogs both jumped in while we were digging it out so photo opportunity it is then!

Hi everyone…. Did you notice my name change? Our recent move to a little farmhouse in Scotland prompted the name change as my new craft room will be based in our little “Coo Hoose”!
We don’t plan on having any coos of our own but we do have coo neighbours all around so it almost feels like we have some! 🐄
The whole place is a project inside and out and we have spent the last 3 months or so getting the place somewhat liveable… my craft room won’t be ready for a while but in the meantime I’ll be trying to attend craft fairs with my already made items and planning for future makes…
There’s a lot going on so I’ll try to keep the page updated but don’t be surprised if it’s mainly cow pics or building work for the time being! 🤦‍♀️🤣
