After initial disappointment with my first attempt, I managed to finish an urn for my dad’s ashes. The photo of him was taken for a People Magazine article in the 70s about his accomplishments. Not only was he very handsome, he was gentle, encouraging, generous beyond compare and a truly special person. He’s greatly missed. He lived to a month shy of his 94th birthday and made the most out of life.

Spent ages designing, making and painting this urn for my dad’s ashes. Gutted when I opened the kiln to this!
