I sharpen freehand, and exclusively on whetstones, so every knife I work on receives my maximum care and attention. Ste's Knife Sharpening Services is a solo operation run by myself, Ste. I currently work from my home in Melbourne, Derby, offering my services to people from the surrounding areas. I have been a knife enthusiast for many years, and have a great deal of freehand sharpening experience

, working primarily on kitchen knives. I sharpen exclusively on whetstones, as I believe that every knife deserves to be treated with maximum care and respect, and I very much enjoy the human element that freehand sharpening brings. Whetstones are also widely recognised as one of the most versatile sharpening tools available, and are renowned for their ability to put amazingly sharp edges on your knives. Prices start from just 75p per inch of the knife's blade (see my Services tab for more details), and I am currently only servicing knives dropped off directly to my address. I also sharpen pen knives, folding knives, pocket knives, scissors and other similar tools!
