This week is volunteer week. As I’ve mentioned before I am a volunteer with as a compassionate companion based at the RUH working with the palliative care team. It’s a role I feel incredibly proud, honoured and privileged to do.

Dorothy House are running volunteer open day today at the Winsley Site so you can find out more about volunteering with them and all the different roles available.

There will also be videos on the RUH social media pages about the different volunteer roles available. Watch out and you might spot me in one of them 😊

One space left on our brilliant Betsy Bear Workshop at the this Saturday. It’s £55 and runs from 9-4.30pm. We will provide the fabric and the pattern and you get to create your very own bear from the beautiful pattern by .patterns

Happy Monday from me and adventure bear who was enjoying the sunshine yesterday in the garden.

Not so much today as it’s very grey and wet.

Adventure bear stands at 15cm tall and is the perfect size to fit in a pocket or bag so you can take your memories with you where ever you go. I’ll be adding him to the website and Etsy shop shortly but you can message me for details. Prices start at £35.

A busy few weeks. Thank you to everyone who’s been so kind and patient. Sadly I did hurt my back and hip in the accident so have had to take things a little slower than normal. Hopefully the physio can help sort things next week for me.

I’ve loved making everything recently and being challenged with new ideas and products. Watch this space for more details soon.

Happy Monday.

I love these bears. They are made from a shirt, jumper and trousers and made up to look like they are wearing a shirt under a jumper. These are the Melody bears which are available in three sizes.

Busy day today, sorting out a car & arguing with the insurance (why do they make things so stressful)

Finished some bears ready to head out, organising some fabric for some corporate bunting, finishing a few new sample. I’m sorting out some ready to buy items (I’ve realised how much fabric I have in stock to use!!) 😳 so keep an eye on the website and Etsy for more details.
