Currently sheltering from the rays whilst rescuing these sweet EPP ( English paper piecing) hexi shapes from a discarded quilt 🥰🌞

Will add them to the shop next week as appliqué pieces you can use to embellish totes, T-shirts or sweatshirts ~ I am very excited about this & will rummage through my wardrobe later to find a suitable garment to patchwork up! 😍

There’s a new kit on the block!

The OG thread catcher kits are still available in faded vintage florals but I’ve just added a v limited edition collection of modern brights too

Kit includes:
💗 2 pieces of main fabric
💗fleece/wadding
💗card templates
💗plastic strip
💗full colour step by step instructions with photos to guide you

You’ll need a few basic extras like thread, glue & masking tape & this is a great hand sewing project as it’s easy peasy!

New fabrics added as these sell out ~ grab ‘em while you can 🥰

The only way I’ve been able to cope with today & the kind of hideous news appearing on my feed is to withdraw into my crochet as it stops my mind dwelling on things I wish I hadn’t heard about. I’m so overwhelmingly heartbroken at the current state of our world 😔

I’m working on a heart cardigan & really looking forward to progressing it over the weekend & treating myself gently in the process 🖤

I hadn’t planned it but adding a crack through one of the hearts to represent its shattering felt pretty apt 💔
