The simple answer is: they’re yours! You can do with them what you wish, but here are a few ideas:

🌸 PRESERVE THEM 🌸

You can choose to have your bouquet professionally preserved as a lasting keepsake of your wedding day.
Whether it’s pressed, framed, or turned into artwork; it’s a beautiful way to relive those memories for years to come.

This is becoming more and more popular. So you will need to be organised and book well in advance. I can recommend an awesome lady who uses resin to make beautiful mementoes.

🌸 GIFT THEM 🌸

Imagine your loved ones taking home a small piece of your wedding day. Bud vases* and table arrangements make lovely gifts. Or you can bundle up the flowers from your arch or installations to make small bouquets.
*vases from me are always yours to keep, but check with other florists - they may not be included.

🌸 HONOUR A LOVED ONE 🌸

Lay them on a loved one’s grave/headstone/memorial plaque or bench.
This is such a meaningful option for couples who want to honour someone special who couldn’t be there on the day.

🌸 DONATE THEM 🌸

Donate them to a local care home/hospice or church.
Flowers have a wonderful way of brightening someone’s day. Your arrangements can continue spreading joy long after the celebrations end.

🌸 DRY THEM 🌸

Even if you don’t professionally preserve your bouquet, a few dried stems tied with your ribbon can become a beautiful reminder of your day.

🌸 KEEP THEM 🌸

You can always just keep them for yourself! Take apart arrangements and dot them around your house in lots of vases to keep the wedding vibes going all week long…

✨ Honestly? It’s completely normal not to know this. And It’s my job to help guide you.

The good news is that a realistic budget isn’t about spending more; It’s about making sure your expectations and priorities match your spend.

For example:

🌸 If you’re only looking for a bouquet and a buttonhole - that requires a very different budget to full venue styling.
For Personal Flowers only, you could spend as little as £150*

🌸 For fully styled wedding flowers (full bridal party, plus ceremony/reception flowers); I would suggest around 10/15% of your overall budget - depending on how flower heavy you want to go.

So it really does depend on what kind of wedding you’re having; plus the type, style and quantity of arrangements you want..

When couples enquire with me, I’m always honest about what’s achievable within the budget and suggest alternatives if needed.

My job isn’t to convince you to spend more.

My job is to help you get the most beautiful flowers possible for the budget you have.
