A couple of days in...

I've not drawn fur with pastels for a good while, I'm learning and I'm really enjoying it.

I booked out a few weeks in my diary to make time for drawing something I fancied... Commissions will commence after.

Its the first time I've applied gouche paint to achieve a solid black... following the advice of the brilliant artist Jason Morgan...
I should hopefully have a nice picture by the end of Bucks Art Weeks!

New Year new subject. This is Gimmelwald, Switzerland. A beautiful tranquil forest with bubbling waterfalls, melodious birdsong and gentle breezes teasing the leaves.
