MARTISOR is the name of a tradition celebrated at the beginning of spring, being popular in South-eastern Europe countries, such are Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria or North Macedonia.
Martisor tradition involves wearing a small decorative object like a brooch and always together with white and red twisted strings, starting from 1st of March, for all month.
According to folklore, wearing a Martisor will bring to you fortune and good health!
