Every year I wonder what will be the first of many Dahlias to flower. This year it’s “Happy Single Date”, a burnt orange and red single variety with gorgeous dark foliage. Not only is she flowering but she’s got loads of buds. 🧡❤️. Great for pollinators and located on the patio at my mothers house to brighten her day.

Yesterday we were in Winslow visiting one of our clients gardens. Delivering hanging pots. Our lovely lady requested trailing perennials. A super sunny spot we chose a sedum and made sure it had plenty of gravel in the base, a trailing Indian mint (great for cooking), a wild strawberry and a pink and white Fuchsia with a purple lobelia. We know the lobelia is an annual put the Fushsia will survive the winter if put into a frost free shed with a little water. We also revived a couple of her pots. We added the Mexican fleabane and a black peppermint which smells divine even if you brush past it, both perennials they sat nicely beside her garden mint, her mothers Lilly of the Valley and a Lilly that will soon be emerging. Jan’s garden is exquisite with mature trees and shrubs and a glorious gigantic yellow climbing rose that is in full flower. We are grateful she trusted us with her hanging baskets, pots and metal hangers. Thank you Jan. Hanging baskets are flying out the door……and at just £15.99 I can why. We have more on the go so order yours NOW. Various colour themes available. If you have last year’s pots and baskets and they are looking a little sad, we will either take them away, change the soil and bring them back bursting with plants for the summer or we can bring the plants to you and do the work at yours. We can suggest suitable planting for your garden pots depending where they are and how much sun they get if you aren’t sure what you want or need. Either way, all you need to do is sit back and relax, we do all the work for you. Drop us a message for a quote or to order your hanging basket.
