Which Zinsser primer do you reach for when tackling stains — and why?

We use all three, but it really depends on the job:

🟥 BIN (Shellac-based): Brilliant on pretty much anything indoors. We use it for small areas of heavy staining — quick, reliable, and bulletproof.

🟨 Cover Stain (Solvent-based): Great for larger sections and exterior work. Proper adhesion, solid coverage, and still one of the best all-rounders.

🟩 BIN Aqua (Water-based): Not quite as tough on the worst stains, but it handles most situations and is far quicker and easier to use over large areas.

Not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs here — just genuinely curious what everyone else is using and why. 👇
