This weekend are thrilled to welcome back Jackie from Jewels Crafts North Wales. Jackie & Wendy create handmade jewellery using a wide selection of beads from vintage to new, semi precious gems stones, glass, crystal and wooden - all made to a high level using quality materials and their skills and knowledge.
Jackie is also able to carry out minor repairs to pieces you have that need a little tlc.
Pop in and see Jackie working both days while with us this weekend.

This weekend we welcome Gill Benjamin Artwork to our pop up artist space. Gill is a very talented local artist ans always popular when she visits us. Come and see her at work as well as Gills fabulous collection which will be available to buy as orginal pieces or many in print as well.

We have a real treat tomorrow with Trevor Blackburn in our pop up artist space. Trevor has an amazing collection of scarves and wraps, all hand made using a variety of yarn. Trevor will have his loom with him and will be demonstrating the skills and techniques that go into each piece he creates.

Looking forward to seeing Sandra Roberts Wednesday & Thursday this week with her handmade Eco silver jewellery. Sandra has been coming to our workshop space for a quite a long time now and is always a popular artist in this space. It's a real treat to watch her at work, cutting, hammering & twisting pieces of silver into beautiful pieces of silver jewellery.

Can't believe it's a month since we saw Crafty Sisters Cymru, looking forward to seeing Linda & Sue and their wonderful collection. They always have such a vast variety of jewellery, styles & colour ranges as well as handmade cards, textile art and so much more.

Tomorrow we will be back at Afonwen Craft & Antique Centre in the 'demo' room from 9.30 - 4.30 and will be busy making some cards, including felting some sheep for our 'Ewe' range. We will also be wire wrapping some gemstone cabachons as we've had a bit of a run on them recently. As usual we will have our full range of cards, jewellery and home decor on display and will be happy to demonstrate needle felting, kumihimo braiding and wire work and you're welcome to have a go too. We absolutely love having Clair Young Ceramic Art with us in our artist space. Clair is an incredible ceramic artist highlighting her passion for wildlife and nature through her work. Clair has a collection on display and will busy creating more to add to her collection - in fact Clair struggles to keep up with demand so loves her time with us working on her sculptures.

Very exciting to have the race coming through our area today but please be aware of road disruption.
The race starts in Mold this morning, leaving at 11.30 heading for Rhosesmor turn off ( A541 Mold to Rhosesmor road is closed for a short period from 11.30 and Mold will have road disruption earlier.
The race will later pop out by Afonwen and heat through to Trefnant crossroads - again this will cause disruption but not road closed.

Please just be aware if coming to see us today think about your route or at least be aware of the cycle race.
