Here's a little job I completed recently

The ceiling was in a desperate state after the customer put their foot almost through from the loft.

Turned out nice!

I'm taking some time off over the next couple of weeks, a well needed break!

Once you start you cant really stop, but I got there in the end

Another busy week over!

Had a bit of everything this week, boarding, skimming, ceiling repair, floating walls out and looked at a few jobs too.

I'm actually off this weekend, looking forward to a bit if family time.

Back to it on Monday, ive got a hall stairs and landing to do.

This customer had some new windows fitted recently and needed the new block work covering up.

There are a few different ways I could have done this, these walls have a cavity so was perfectly fine to use plasterboard and adhesive

Something you may not know is if an external wall doesn't have a cavity, then dot and dab method isn't really the best way to approach the job.
Dry wall adhesive or "dab" is a gypsum based product which is porous and can absorb moisture from the wall itself causing thermal bridging. This usually shows itself once the wall is plastered as dark marks where the dabs are.
These marks are known as "ghosting"

Anyway, job done, happy customer on to the next one
